NRNG

The Merry-Run-Round takes its name from the concept of running in a loop. The race offers two distances: 10km and a half marathon, both promising stunning views and being equally rewarding for every type of runner.

The 10km is a perfect introduction, letting beginners experience the same stunning scenery (ancient trails, bamboo groves, and reservoir vistas) as the longer distance, but in a more accessible format that’s ideal for beginners wanting a taste of the adventure and a rewarding connection with nature, as well as for runners looking to improve their record on the distance.

For those ready to take on more, the half marathon course is thoughtfully designed with its gentle elevation and a mix of roads and trails. Regular runners will find the half marathon a refreshing challenge, blending the speed of road running with the beauty and variety of trail terrain.

Both distances keep the elevation manageable enough for runners to push for a new PB.

Merry-Run-Round 源於環形跑的概念。比賽提供兩種距離：比賽分為10公里和半馬距離，兩條路線均擁有令人嘆為觀止的美景，能讓各種類型的跑者獲得相同的滿足感。

10公里賽是完美的入門之選，讓初學者能夠體驗與長距離賽相同的迷人景色（古老的山徑、茂密的竹林和壯麗的水庫風光），賽道非常親民，非常適合想要體驗冒險、感受自然之美的初學者，以及希望刷新個人最佳成績的跑者。

對於那些準備挑戰更高難度的跑者，精心設計的半馬賽道坡度平緩，融合了水泥路和山徑。對於經常跑步的人來說，半馬將是一個令人耳目一新的挑戰，它巧妙地結合了路跑的速度感和越野跑的優美景色和多樣化地形。

兩個組別的賽道坡度都控制在適當的範圍內，讓跑者有機會衝擊PB (個人最佳成績)。

Calling all running groups to Fight for Glory!

Smashing a PB on your own feels great, but bringing home a trophy together as a crew is pure joy!

This year, NRNG is launching the " NRNG Hall of Fame Cup‘’, calling on all HK running clubs, teams, and associations to battle for top honours!

How it works: Points determine the winning team

The "NRNG Hall of Fame Cup" uses a cumulative score system to test your team’s overall strength and strategy.

⁠Categories:

10km and 21km. Each distance offers 3 age categories for men and women respectively (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each).

-Scoring system: 1st Place = 3 pts | 2nd Place = 2 pts | 3rd Place = 1 pt

Each category has 18 awards, totalling 36 points.

-⁠Key to victory: The group with the highest total score by its members in the same distance takes the cup.

Groups don’t have to be running clubs, teams, or associations. Even groups of close friends can compete for the prize by signing up with a group name!

Participants who compete in the “NRNG Hall of Fame Cup” must enter their group name during registration. The more members participate, the greater the chance of winning awards!

Prizes $6,000:

One grand prize set for 10km and 21km respectively, exclusively sponsored by NRNG.

⁠Grand Prize value: $3,000: $1,000 cash + $2,000 in kind (including selected Japanese-branded sports merchandise).

The "NRNG Hall of Fame Cup" grand prize is a team award - category winners still keep their individual prizes!

Important notes:

1) The minimum score for the Grand Prizes is 4 points or more. If the total score is less than 4 points, no prize will be awarded.

2) In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by the average finishing time.

召集全港跑步團體為榮耀而戰!

單打獨鬥破個人 PB 固然爽，但一班人所屬的跑步隊伍抱走獎盃先係無可比擬嘅熱血！

今年大會首度推出「 NRNG 競走殿堂盃」，號召全港跑會、跑團、團體及三五知己共同爭奪殿堂級最高榮譽！

奪標機制：分數決定勝負！

「NRNG競走殿堂盃」採用分數累計制度，考驗隊伍的整體戰力與策略：

-組別： 10K 及 21K 。每個距離男女子組各有 3個年齡組別 (各組別設冠、亞、季軍)。

-⁠⁠計分方法：冠軍 3分｜亞軍 2分｜季軍 1分

每個距離組別共有 18 個獎項，合共36分。

-⁠勝負關鍵：同屬有關團體的成員在同一距離組別取得獎項即可得分，總分數高低決定勝負。隊伍非限定為跑會、跑團、跑步組織，三五知己亦可建立隊名合作奪標！

-參與「NRNG 競走殿堂盃」的跑步隊伍成員在報名時必須輸入同一名稱。

殿堂級大獎 $6,000：

10K 及 21K各設一個大獎，由NRNG 獨家贊助。

-各組別大獎價值$3,000：現金 $1,000 及獎品$2,000 (包括精選日本品牌的運動產品)。

-「NRNG競走殿堂盃」大獎為團體額外獎項，各年齡組別的得獎者仍可同時領取個人原有名次之獎品！

注意事項：

1) 大獎的最低門檻為4分或以上。如總得分少於4分，大會將不頒發獎項。

2) 如遇同分情況，則以平均完成時間計算分高下。
