The Fat Mak Trail Race is inspired by a large, distinctive rock called "Fat Mak Rock", located along the route in the middle section of Tai Shing Stream. The rock features the Chinese characters 肥佬麥 (meaning "Fat Mak Rock") painted on its surface. The intriguing name not only makes the rock a popular spot for photographs but also adds a unique design element to the race.
The 5th edition of the Fat Mak Trail Race will follow the original race course in reverse. Additionally, sections of the 35km route have been modified, with the introduction of a new path and a revised sequence of trails.
肥佬麥越野賽靈感來自於賽道上經過的一大石『肥佬麥』。 『肥佬麥』位於大城石澗徑中段，石上被人漆寫上『肥佬麥』三字。『肥佬麥』這個有趣的名字除了令本來寂寂無名的大石變為一個出名的打卡點，亦同時為本賽事提供設計元素。
第五屆肥佬麥越野賽將會逆走原有官方路線。此外，35公里組別的部分賽道也有所修改，新增一條小徑並調整了賽道順序。

Gift Delivery:

Delivery begins from December 15th for those who submit the redemption application before October 31st. Applications submitted on or after November 1st will be delivered based on gift availability at that time. All deliveries will be made by the end of January.
