NRNG

The race name refers to a large rock along the route, Amah Rock, shaped like a woman carrying a baby on her back and steeped in local legend. As well as covering the familiar MacLehose Trail and Wilson Trail, the route connects with several ancient trails, historically used by villagers. These trails exude a timeless charm: often paved with natural stones, winding through wilderness, and framed by trees, they offer runners a glimpse into Hong Kong's rural past. With a modest cumulative elevation gain and few technical sections, the race remains highly runnable.

巨石越野賽命名源自於在賽道上一大石「望夫石」，其形狀酷似一位背著嬰兒的母親，背後有一則堅貞的愛情傳說。賽道除覆蓋大家熟悉的麥理浩徑及衛奕信徑，還會經過多條古老的山徑。這些古道曾是以往當地村民在偏遠村落間往來的通道。古道通常由天然石塊鋪成，婉蜒穿梭荒野，兩側綠樹成蔭，讓跑者得以一窺香港鄉村的往昔風貌。

由於累計攀升適中，技術性路面也較少，因此這條比賽路線可跑性極高。
